Birthday Party Guidelines Agreement
I agree to abide by all terms and conditions set forth in the Birthday Party Guidelines Agreement and that failure to adhere to these
regulations will incur nancial penalties and possible legal actions.
Please read this carefully and be aware that in signing up and participating in this program/activity
, you will be expressly assuming the risk and legal liability and waiving and releasing all claims
for injuries, damages or loss which you or your minor child/ward might sustain as a result of participatingin any and all activities connected with and associated with this program/activity (including
transportation services and vehicle operations, when provided). I recognize and acknowledge that there are certain risks of physical injury to participants in this program/activity, and I voluntarily
agree toassume the full risk of any and all injuries, damages or loss, regardless of severity, that my minor child/ward or I may sustain as a result of said participation. I further agree to waive and
relinquish all claims I or my minor child/ward may have (or accrue to me or my child/ward) as a result of participatingin this program/activity against the District, including its ofcials, agents,
program instructors, volunteers and employees. I hereby authorize and give my consent to the District to photograph/video my child (or me), and without limitation, to use such photographs/video
in connection with promoting/advertising the services, programs, and facilities of the District, without consideration of any kind. I have read and fully understand the above important information,
warning of risk, assumption of risk, waiver and release of all claims, and photo/video authorization. If registering online or via fax, myonline or facsimile signature shall substitute for and have the
same legal effect as an original form signature.

DEPOSIT & PAYMENT
• The $50 refundable deposit is required to secure the reservation.
• The deposit payment does not go toward the party total balance.
• Full payment is due via check or credit card seven days prior to
the event.
• The deposit will be refunded within 10-15 business days less any
additional costs (extra food, guests, etc.)
CANCELLATION & REFUNDS
• Cancellations must be made at least 14 days in advance of the event
to receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 14 days in
advance forfeit the $50 deposit.
• Cancellations made less than seven days in advance are responsible
for the full payment of the selected birthday party package.
• Weather refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis.
• Refunds take up to 10-15 days to be processed.
GUESTS
• If less than 15 children attend, adults can be included in the package.
• The birthday child and birthday child's parents are free and do not
apply toward the 15 guests included in the package. Families
celebrating multiple children's birthdays, just one of the birthday
children is free.
• Please advise your guests to check in at the admissions window
where they will receive a wristband. Guests must wear wristbands
while visiting the park.
• Children under the age of 1 are free. Food, beverage and
commemorative gifts are not included for children under .
• Please be sure that the reserved area is cleaned up, garbage is
placed in the garbage cans and that the area is vacated by guests at
the conclusion of the event. Failure to do so may result in the rental
deposit not being refunded.
GENERAL PARTY INFORMATION
• Birthday parties are held at one of two Blackberry Farm Party Decks,
located near the Adventure Playground. The deck includes tables and
chairs for 35 guests. Additional seating cannot be added.
• Birthday party decks are not sheltered locations. Each table has
an umbrella included.
• Each party reservation includes a complimentary 10-minute set-up and
10-minute clean-up time.
• All Blackberry Farm rides and amenities are included with the party
packages. Special activities outside of daily admissions fees are
not included.
• Items including decorations or other event materials may not be left at
the birthday party deck outside of the reserved party time.
• No permanent or damaging changes may be made to the facility
(i.e. nails or tape). Confetti is not allowed.
• The Barnyard Bash Party package include two pizzas and a juice box
for each child. Additional food and drink can be purchased, or families
may bring in additional food and drink. Alcohol is not permitted. Minor
items such as cake for your party can be stored in the Blackberry Farm
admissions office until the start of your party. Refrigeration is not
available.
• Blackberry Farm and Fox Valley Park District are not responsible for
any lost or stolen items.
• Pizza Ordering Information: Additional pizzas will be added to your
reservation at no cost dependent on the number of paid children.
Adults not included in pizza order. Pizzas are available for purchase at
additional cost.
Up to 16 children = 2 pizzas included
17-25 children = 3 pizzas included
25-35 children = 4 pizzas included
WEATHER
• Blackberry Farm is open rain or shine. Weather-related cancellations
are handled on the day of the party, and not based on forecasted
weather days ahead of time.
• Weather refunds are determined on a case-by-case basis.
• The Fox Valley Park District is not responsible for monitoring nor
reporting approaching weather systems to its Renters nor to
participants and spectators at events held on District property. All
risk of injury or death from weather-related conditions that may arise
is expressly assumed by Renters, participants and spectators.
